FAQ

How do I embed a single team’s schedule on my fan site?

Visit sportbusy.com/widget/single-team/, pick the team’s league, select the team from the dropdown (or type the name for college teams), customize theme and size, then copy the iframe. Example: sportbusy.com/embed?team=Detroit+Pistons

Is the single-team schedule widget free?

Yes for fan blogs, podcasts, school papers, and commercial sites. Attribution stays inside the iframe footer.

Why do I have to pick a league before the team?

Team names can repeat across sports. League context ensures the widget pulls the correct schedule feed (NBA vs NCAA vs EPL).

Can I embed the Lakers schedule only?

Select NBA as league, choose Los Angeles Lakers in the team dropdown, and copy the embed. The preview shows only Lakers games.

Does the team widget work for NFL or MLB teams?

Yes. Pick NFL or MLB as the league, then select the franchise. The team list comes from our standings API for accurate names.

Can I embed a college football team schedule?

Choose NCAA Football (FBS) as league. If the team is not in the dropdown, type the school name in the text field — the widget filters by that string.

What does the ‘Upcoming Events’ tab option do on the team widget?

Same as the league widget: optionally include a tab for major events (finals, PPVs) in addition to that team’s game list.

How do I match the team widget to my site branding?

Set theme, size, compact layout, and custom accent/border/text/title hex colors in the builder — no CSS file needed on your site.

How often does the team schedule widget update?

Automatically when new games are scheduled or scores change. You never edit the iframe after publishing.

How do I add the team widget to WordPress?

Custom HTML block with the copied iframe. Full width works in article body; Medium (380×500) fits sidebars.

Can I embed Manchester City’s fixtures only?

Select Premier League (soccer), choose Manchester City, and copy the code. Ideal for City-specific fan sites.

What is the best widget for a high school sports paper?

This single-team widget is the most requested — one iframe for “our team’s next games” without clutter from other clubs.

Will this slow down my page?

The async iframe does not block your LCP. Use loading="lazy" (included in the builder snippet).

How is the team widget different from the single-league widget?

League widget shows every team in that league. Team widget filters to one club — better for dedicated fan URLs.
