What is SportBusy Picks?
SportBusy Picks is a transparent, performance-driven marketplace for sports handicappers and fans.
Unlike other platforms that allow anyone to sell picks without accountability, SportBusy tracks every single pick placed on the platform. Once a game begins, a pick is permanently locked into the capper's record — it cannot be edited, deleted, or hidden. This structural integrity ensures fans can trust the statistics they see, allowing skilled handicappers to let their verified records speak for themselves.
Auto Track — SportBusy can grade this pick from official scores after the linked game finishes, when that league and bet type are in our grading catalog. There's no manual settle step for covered markets, and eligible picks are graded automatically once results land.
SB Verified — The American odds on the card came from SportBusy's sheet snapshot at post time, not a custom line the capper typed in.
If a bet isn't eligible for instant auto-verification, it will be verified shortly through our normal grading flow.
The accuracy-based ranking system
To help fans identify the best-performing handicappers, SportBusy uses a dynamic, accuracy-based ranking system rather than subjective ratings. The platform automatically assigns a tier and a colored badge (using the SportBusy logo) next to a capper's name based strictly on recent performance.
Tier 1: Weekly Ranking
This tier measures a capper's accuracy over the current week. To qualify, a capper must have placed at least five picks within the week. The thresholds are:
- Gold SportBusy Badge: 80%+ accuracy
- Silver SportBusy Badge: 65% – 79.9% accuracy
- Bronze SportBusy Badge: 50% – 64.9% accuracy
Tier 2: Monthly Rolling Window
This tier measures sustained accuracy over a rolling 30-day window. The accuracy thresholds remain exactly the same, but the badge represents a Tier 2 achievement, indicating long-term consistency rather than a single hot week. Cappers who fall below 50% accuracy, or who have not met the minimum pick threshold, will not display a ranking badge.
Becoming a valid capper (Stripe setup)
To monetize picks and sell subscriptions to fans, handicappers must complete a secure merchant onboarding process via Stripe Connect.
The process begins in the Capper Dashboard → Membership & payouts section (or account menu → Payouts & Stripe) by clicking "Connect Stripe payouts." Stripe will prompt you to verify identity and link a bank account. Once verified, you can set prices for Day, Week, and Month packages (subject to a $5.00 minimum). SportBusy handles fan checkout; your share is transferred to your Stripe Express account.
Viewing payouts & merchant details
SportBusy does not host your bank or tax forms — Stripe does, as your payment processor. After onboarding is complete, open Capper Dashboard → View payouts in Stripe (or Membership & payouts). That opens your Stripe Express dashboard in a new tab, where you can see:
- Available balance and payout history
- Bank account on file and payout schedule
- Tax / 1099 settings (when applicable)
- Individual charges from fan subscriptions (Stripe's view of what landed in your account)
For SportBusy-side analytics (MRR, subscriber funnel, revenue tier), use Capper Pro Insights — that complements Stripe's payout ledger, it does not replace it.
Subscription packages and revenue tiers
Cappers have complete control over their pricing. They can offer a Day Pass (24-hour access), a Week Pass (7-day access), and a Month Pass (30-day recurring access). One package can be designated as "Most Popular" to guide fan purchasing decisions.
The Capper Tier System (Revenue Share)
SportBusy employs a tiered revenue share model that rewards successful cappers. As a capper grows their active subscriber base, they keep a larger percentage of their subscription revenue (after standard Stripe processing fees are deducted).

How splits are calculated & when they change
- Subscriber tier is based on how many fans have an active or trialing paid subscription to your packages — not followers or free users.
- Capper Pro is separate: it guarantees at least 85% to you (15% platform) even at 0 subscribers. If your organic tier is already better (e.g. Legend at 90%), you keep the better split — Pro never lowers your rate.
- New fan subscriptions use your current split at checkout time.
- Existing fan renewals update on the next billing cycle when your tier changes (e.g. after upgrading to Pro or crossing a subscriber threshold). Past charges are not adjusted retroactively.
- Stripe processing fees are deducted from charges before the revenue split is applied, per Stripe Connect rules.
You upgrade to Capper Pro on May 24 with 0 subscribers. Your split becomes 85% / 15% immediately for new subscribers. A fan who subscribed before May 24 renews June 1 — that renewal uses 85% / 15% as well, because SportBusy updates Stripe subscription fees when your tier changes.
Capper Pro membership
Capper Pro is a premium, paid membership for serious handicappers who want advanced tools, increased visibility, and a guaranteed 85% revenue share on fan subscriptions from day one. What's included
- 85% revenue share — same economics as Established tier without needing 500+ subscribers (see how splits work).
- Live-game picks — post on games in progress (not on final/completed games). Pre-game posting is always available.
- Pro badge — shown next to your name on profiles, pick cards, and the leaderboard.
- Feed priority — higher placement in the SportBusy picks feed.
- Pick editing — change selection, odds, and analysis within 30 minutes of posting (pending picks only).
- Pick deletion — remove up to 2 pending picks per month from your public record.
- Pro analytics dashboard — insights included with Capper Pro (not available on the free capper plan).
Pro analytics (Capper Pro only)
Live on web at Dashboard → Insights (/picks/dashboard/insights). Requires an active Capper Pro subscription.
Pro analytics help you understand what is working on SportBusy — not just your overall record, but when and how you win. Use it to refine posting habits, pricing, and premium mix. All figures below are for your capper account only; fans do not see this dashboard.
- Growth — followers, subscribers, picks posted, likes, saves, engagement per pick and per follower (7-day or 30-day window).
- Accuracy by post time — win rate by hour of day and day of week (Eastern), plus highlights for your best-performing windows when you have enough graded picks.
- Accuracy splits — settled record by league, bet type, and team (from linked games).
- Posting cadence — posts per week chart with labeled weeks.
- Revenue — active MRR/ARR estimates, ARPU, your revenue split tier, and progress toward the next organic tier.
- Units & ROI — net units and ROI at your posted American odds (1u per settled pick).
- Premium vs free — compare win rate and ROI on premium vs public picks.
- Subscriber funnel — followers, active subs, new subs in window, scheduled cancels, recent churn.
- Since Pro — record, units, and paying subs before vs after your Pro start date.
- Fan push notifications — when you post, paying subscribers and free followers get mobile push + inbox alerts (fans control this in app Alert settings or web notification preferences). Premium picks notify paying subscribers only — free followers are not alerted.
- Pro benchmarks — anonymous 30-day win % vs other Pro cappers in each sport you play.
- Posting schedule — when you usually post; one click to paste into your profile fan message.
- Export — CSV of recent picks with units profit and engagement counts.
Capper Pro is built for cappers who treat this like a business: live-game posting, better economics, and analytics to learn from your own history. We will keep expanding Pro analytics (deeper time trends, premium vs free splits, subscriber cohorts) based on what delivers the most actionable signal — tell us what you want prioritized in the capper dashboard or community channels.
Immediate Revenue Bump

Instantly move to an 85% revenue share — the same economics as the Established tier — regardless of your current subscriber count. That lets newer cappers compete with stronger economics while they scale their audience.
Pick editing
Available for 30 minutes after you post (pending picks only).
Adjust selection, American odds, and analysis from My Picks while the window is open. Parlay tickets cannot be edited yet. Once the 30-minute window closes, the pick locks like any other SportBusy pick.
Pick deletion
Up to 2 pending picks per UTC calendar month.
Soft-delete a mistaken pending pick from feeds via My Picks. Graded picks cannot be deleted. Deletes do not refund fan subscriptions.

Featured placement next to other standout cappers.
