About the Elite Eight

The Elite Eight is the regional championship round — four games that determine which four teams advance to the Final Four. Each of the four regional sites (Houston, San Jose, Chicago, Washington D.C.) crowns one regional champion. These four teams then travel to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the Final Four on April 4–5. The Elite Eight features only four games, but they are four of the most consequential games in college basketball.
